Documents and Software Solutions:
The PXES-2314T brings unheard of portability to test and measurement applications, requiring only the PXES-2314T, a power adapter, a notebook computer, and Thunderbolt cable for a complete on-the-go test and measurement setup.
The Thunderbolt connector is an evolution in the ease of test system connectivity. A typical PXI bridge setup requires a desktop expansion card, chassis module, and connecting cable, severely limiting portability. Thunderbolt is both relatively common on notebook computers and provides sufficient speed to replace the older three-part setup.
In addition to portability, the chassis also supports the full spectrum of PXI measurement modules. Three of the four PXI Express hybrid slots support the latest generation of measurement modules based on PCI Express Gen3, and all slots are backward-compatible with PXI and CompactPCI eliminating costly replacement of legacy measurement modules.
